Harp Lessons

Harp Lessons in Austin, TX

The harp is one of the world’s oldest, most beautiful and unique instruments! At McLaughlin School of Music, we offer harp instruction from professional harpist Linnae Kraemer – a veteran performer and experienced teacher with all levels and ages. Linnae’s enthusiasm and commitment to her students, and her warm and encouraging demeanor make her the ideal teacher for this gorgeous instrument.

For students who have never considered pursuing the harp, McLaughlin School offers a free introductory lesson with Ms. Kraemer, where you can not only learn about the harp, but also discuss harp rental and purchase options, which are often more affordable than you might think!

Ms. Kraemer serves as Vice-President of the Austin Harp Society. Her education includes studies with Delaine Leonard Fedson at UT, Austin, Kimberly Houser at Louisiana State University, Alison Austin, and Laurie Hunter. Linnae’s studies also include piano pedagogy training with Pamela Pike at Louisiana State University and Sophia Gilmson at the University of Texas.

You can read more about Linnae Kraemer on our faculty page, or contact us to schedule an introductory lesson using the form to the right!
